Here is a fun fact. In the 1400s when the very first time King Henry V was given a gift of Cigars by Spain which imported its tobacco from Cuba, King Henry found them very much to his liking. So he set for himself a supply of cigars. However, he found that he had no place to dump the ash and stubs when he was in his highness’s chambers. Thus the very first Ash tray of sorts for the King’s leisure was invented. How cool is that, Guess King Henry had no toilet flush.

This particular ashtray is not only cool, but very functional. Although it is made out of rose wood, the tray is lined with Brass to stub out cigarettes without burn marks.
